this kit contains enough pieces for 42 blocks (6 across and 7 down) and will produce a finished quilt top approximately 66" x 77".

Using 1/4" seam allowance,  start the star by sewing two (2) pieces together, (figure 1). Press all the seams in the same direction. Next, sew three (3) sets of pieces together to form the six-point star, (figure 2). Press all the seams in the same direction. Next sew six (6) diamonds to the star to complete the hexagon block, (figure 3). Press each hexagon flat. Join the hexagon blocks to complete the quilt top.
To quilt, pin the quilt top, batting and backing together. For best results, quilt 1/4" inside each square.
